10 AI Tools That Will Give You Superpowers

AI has been part of the daily conversation in 2023, largely dominated by ChatGPT and OpenAI. However, there are now a plethora of tools out there that are providing amazing features that can help supercharge your daily workflow, regardless of which area you’re working in.

Here is a list of the top 10 tools that we absolutely love. There are of course many competing tools, but we’ve tried to spread the reach across different areas (audio, video, text generation, images & graphics, etc.) to cover as much ground as possible. We hope you find these helpful.

1. Otter.ai – Transcribe meetings

There are a ton of meeting transcription tools out there now as voice to text transcription becomes an increasingly solved problem, and the APIs provided by giants such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud become cheaper and easier to integration. We like to use Otter due to its fantastic UX and integrations. It has become a part of our regular workflow and has saved us hours of work already. With a generous free-tier offering, you can’t go wrong with giving Otter a shot.

2. Resume Worded – Improve your resume and LinkedIn profile

A smaller and lesser known tool, Resume Worded is providing a much needed service – a Resume grading and improvement recommendation engine. You can upload your resume and receive advice on how to improve, review samples of high-scoring resumes, and even optimize your LinkedIn profile based on recommendations from the same engine. Look out for more tools to emerge in this space soon. But for now, Resume Worded is a good place to start if you are looking to improve your resume.

3. Soundraw – Stop searching for the song you need. Create it.

Image and art generators have taken up most of the headlines, but Soundraw has quietly been capturing the Music Generation space. One of the main use-cases that jumped out from the ChatGPT saga was how well these tools can perform on copywriting tasks. Copy.ai and Jasper are the gold standards in this area. The main difference between the two would be that Jasper also has some image generation tools built in, but in our experience, it’s shining point is the copy. They can help with anything from website copy, marketing material, sales emails and more.

6. Quillbot – Paraphrasing tool

The reverse of generating copy, Quillbot will take in long articles and summarize them for you – and it is shockingly good at this. Gone are the days of pouring over massive articles or documents to get the gist of the subject matter. Quillbot will simply ingest all the material for you and provide the cliff notes for you. You can customize it by selecting from styles such as Formal, Simple, Creative, etc. and tweak the vocabulary level you want it to use.
